The first INOTEX Provincial Festival 2024 was held in Kermanshah in collaboration with the Kermanshah Technology Park. 

The event was held in two sections: Research Pitch and INOTEX Pitch:

Research Pitch Kermanshah 

In the research pitch section, 52 research projects were evaluated by judges, and 22 teams qualified for the live round. In the live round of the event, which was held on Wednesday, January 3, six research projects were selected from each of the competition's areas:

• Mining and Mineral Industries: The natural pitch construction project (Mrs. Fadayei)
• Information and Communication Technology and Artificial Intelligence: The cancer treatment project using deep learning (Mr. Abadi)
• Health and Medical Equipment: The synthesis of the world's bitterest substance (Mr. Bagheri)
• Water, Energy, and Environment: The synthesis photocatalyst and laboratory vertical furnace design (Mr. Tafreshi)
• Electricity, Electronics, and Robotics: Small-sized harmonic control circuit (Mr. Ekhterai)
• Food and Agriculture Industries: The effect of spraying with iron, zinc, titanium, and smoke-water nanoparticles on rosemary (Mrs. Mehrkish)

INOTEX Pitch Kermanshah 

In the INOTEX Pitch section, 15 teams advanced to the live presentation round of the competition after an initial review of 43 proposals by judges. On Thursday, December 14, after the teams' presentations and final evaluation by judges, "Blue Dopamine" in the artificial intelligence field for protein design was selected as the first team, and "Tirojh Force of the West", a smart home control platform including greenhouses and other centers, was selected as the second team.
 

The Future of the INOTEX Provincial Festival 

The six selected Research Pitch teams and the two best teams in the INOTEX Pitch Competition have qualified for the final of the competition, which will be held from May 7 to 10, 2024, in Pardis Technology Park. It is worth mentioning that Sistan and Baluchestan Province has been selected as the next destination for the provincial INOTEX Festival on January 10 and 11.

The Research Pitch and INOTEX Pitch competitions are held under the INOTEX Provincial Festival 2024, hosted by INOTEX Secretariat in the provinces of Kermanshah, Sistan and Baluchestan, Yazd, Tehran, Bushehr, and the northwestern provinces of the country hosted by Urmia.
