Faris Award 2024
Honoring the supporters of future generations
The International Advertising Association (IAA) and Pardis Technology Park are organizing the unprecedented interactive international event, the Faris Awards, at INOTEX 2024. The event is named after one of the greatest media and advertising pioneers of the 20th century, Faris Ibrahim Abouhamad. Over five decades of professional activity within the IAA, Faris Abouhamad has served four terms as Vice President and three terms as President and Secretary-General of the organization. He is recognized as the most influential supporter of growth and excellence for young people in less privileged countries, with many advertising and media luminaries considering themselves his disciples.
The ‘Faris’ award focuses on individuals who have played a special role in promoting the growth of young talents and creating conditions for the excellence of the next generation. The event will feature distinguished speakers and prominent figures from countries such as the Netherlands, Turkiye, Australia, Lebanon, Russia, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and members of the IAA Global Board.
Additionally, the 50th anniversary of the International Advertising Association’s presence in Iran is another occasion that brings together media and marcom professionals on May 9, 2024 to celebrate this milestone.
Since 1938 (seven years before the formation of the United Nations), the International Advertising Association has been involved in international standardization, regulation design, self-regulation, technology transfer, and knowledge dissemination in the field of marketing communication. With more than 86 global chapters, it holds the highest level of influence among media, marketing, advertising, and market development professionals worldwide.
The IAA’s 50th-anniversary event in Iran will not only draw on the experiences of international experts but also explore the conditions and methods for the growth and progress of the next generation from the perspective of Iranian scholars such as Professor Shahrokh Shabani and Professor Shahin Rouhani.
This one-day event will take place on May 9, 2024 from2-6 PM at INOTEX Stage in Pardis Technology Park.
