Following the successful holding of the INOTEX 2024 Research Pitch and INOTEX Pitch competitions in the provinces of Kermanshah and Sistan and Baluchestan, the INOTEX 2024 Provincial Festival was held in the city of Yazd with the cooperation of Yazd Science and Technology Park.
 

Research Pitch

Research Pitch event in this province saw the registration of 43 research projects, of which 12 were selected for the live presentation section after an initial evaluation. In the opening ceremony of this event, Mr. Mohammad Hossein Askari, Director General of Admission and Acceptance of Technology Units of Pardis Technology Park, welcomed the audience and provided explanations about Pardis Technology Park and INOTEX. After him, Dr. Ghomi, Vice President of Technology Development of Yazd Science and Technology Park, explained about the establishment of the park and synergy between the park and companies.

In this section, which was held on Wednesday, February 1, 2024, four research projects were selected from among the presented research projects in the following areas:

• Mining and Mineral Industries: Design and production of iron-based glass alloys based on improvement of physical, mechanical and magnetic properties (Ms. Parisa Rezaei)
• Water, Energy and Environment: Production of myco-composites (Dr. Simin Nosrati)
• Electricity, Electronics and Robotics: Solar water cooler (Dr. Mustafa Shah Nazari)

INOTEX Pitch

INOTEX Pitch event in this province saw the registration of 52 startup teams, of which 14 teams were selected for the live presentation section after an initial evaluation. In the opening ceremony of this event, Dr. Akhoundi, Deputy of Planning of the Vice President of Development of Yazd Province, explained about the story of the teams. In this section, which was held on Thursday, February 2, 2024, two projects were selected from among the presented projects:

• First team: Raymond
• Second team: Doornegah-e Kavir

The winners of these two events won the right to participate in the finals of these competitions, which will be held from May 7-10, 2024in the Pardis Innovation District. It is worth mentioning that Tehran Province has been selected as the next destination for the INOTEX Provincial Festival on February 16 and 17, 2024.

The INOTEX Pitch and Research Pitch competitions are being held as part of the INOTEX 2024 Provincial Festival, organized by the INOTEX Secretariat in the provinces of Kermanshah, Sistan and Baluchestan, Yazd, Tehran, Bushehr, and the northwestern provinces of Iran, hosted by Urmia.
