The conference on the application of artificial intelligence in the financial industry was held with the participation of a group of active managers and experts in this field, under the INOTEX 2024 event at the Seraj Technology Park Hall in Pardis. During this meeting, while referring to the important role of artificial intelligence in the future of the world, the necessity for the country to move quickly and with quality towards the use of artificial intelligence in governance was emphasized.

According to the INOTEX 2024 newsroom, the panel continued with the topic ‘Artificial Intelligence in the Financial Industry: From Dream to Reality’ with the presence of Hesham Fili, the head of the Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Technology Institute at Bank Melli, Mehdi Taghipour, CEO of Beh Pardakht Melli, Mehdi Mohammadi, head of the Technology Management and Innovation Association, Ali Baniyadi Naeini, Deputy for Planning and Development and a member of the board of Central Insurance, and Ali Abdollahi, an innovation and technology consultant for the Behsazan Farda Group (Bank Melli’s IT holding).

The most important topics of this panel were the human capital crisis in the innovation space, the creation of AI-based startups and their role in preventing brain drain and the emigration of elites, the competition crisis with foreign countries, especially with the creation of collaboration opportunities for domestic experts with foreign startups, the necessity to avoid sloganism and seriously enter the field of action, avoiding pessimism and stating the realities.

Other topics discussed at the meeting included the necessity to avoid technology-driven rhetoric, facilitating the path for academics and graduates to enter the real market of artificial intelligence in the innovation and technology ecosystem, enhancing the knowledge of industrial managers in the field of artificial intelligence, refining laws and regulations for agility in using artificial intelligence tools."
