The INOTEX startup competition, featuring 12 teams from six provinces including Kermanshah, Sistan and Baluchestan, Yazd, Tehran, Bushehr, and Urmia (northwest of the country), was held on the final day of INOTEX 2024.

As reported by the INOTEX 2024 news headquarters, Team Dahir from Bushehr province, active in the field of smart aquaculture platforms, emerged victorious in three intense battles to win the INOTEX 2024 battle.

Dahir managed to eliminate the Baboomia startup with a score of 4-1 in the final round of the INOTEX competitive battle.

INOTEX Pitch 2024 was judged by Shahram Bakhsha, Deputy CEO for Planning and IT at the Development and Cooperation Bank; Soulmaz Sadeghnia, Manager of Golrang Ventures; Ali Omidi, CEO of Karn Crowdfunding; Mohammadreza Bayat, Portfolio Manager at Yektaventures; and Reza Zarnokhi, CEO of the Technology Development Fund.

In this event, first, Soheila Armak, Executive Manager and Market Developer of Team Baboomia from Tehran, made a presentation. Baboomia startup operates in the field of experiential tourism and nature-friendly activities.

Then, the SafarClub team from Urmia, which offers travel measurement services for various trips, introduced their startup. Hamed Partovi, Executive Manager and Founder of SafarClub, introduced the company’s services through its website, application, and community.

Next, Team Snack from Urmia, as the third team, made a presentation. Snack is essentially a game-based educational assessment management team using artificial intelligence. Navid Hatami, Founder and Project Manager of Snack, discussed the educational process of this startup with the help of games and artificial intelligence.

Following that, the startup Dornegah Kavir Yazd, managed by Mohammad Zeinali, presented about their team. This startup operates in the field of spraying and seeding operations with the help of drones.

The fifth team in INOTEX Pitch was the startup Ney Jeb from Sistan and Baluchestan province. Adel Riggi, Product Manager and Executive Manager of Ney Jeb, introduced his startup. Ney Jeb works to reduce users’ medical costs by offering free supplementary insurance.

Raymand, from Yazd province, a startup producing the first water-fuel welding device in Iran, presented as the sixth team.

Subsequently, the Blue Dopamine team from Kermanshah province, active in combining artificial intelligence with molecules, explained the advantages of their startup. Ahura Zahedi, CEO and Founder of this startup, spoke about his concerns for the development of their product.

Finally, Team Dahir from Bushehr province, active in the field of smart aquaculture platforms; Tirouj Power West team from Kermanshah province, a startup based on IoT automation; Partonogen Pardis team from Bushehr province, active in designing medical equipment phantoms for CT scan devices; Starbat team from Sistan and Baluchestan province as an online sales management and integration system; and Amirfarm team from Tehran, active in food security, made their presentations.

The startup battle is one of the sections of INOTEX Pitch 2024, held for the fourth time.

The battle competition is a head-to-head duel between teams, and each team has a 3-minute opportunity to challenge the opposing team in terms of marketing and market.

In the second battle competition, teams had 4 minutes each to engage the opposing team in a challenge.

The winner of each battle was determined immediately after the competition by the judges. Unlike the presentation section, the judges did not have the opportunity to consult and immediately announced their positive or negative opinion after the end of the battle.

The results of the first round of the battle were announced:

Starbat with a score of 4-1 over Raymand, Dahir with a score of 4-1 over Blue Dopamine, Baboomia with a score of 3-2 over Amirfarm, and Ney Jeb with a score of 3-2 over Partonogen Pardis were eliminated from the competition.

The results of the second round of the battle were announced:

Startup Dahir with a result of 4-1 over Starbat and startup Baboomia with a result of 4-1 over Ney Jeb were eliminated from the second battle.

Finally, the results of the last round of the battle were announced:

Startup Dahir, with a score of 4-1, managed to eliminate startup Baboomia from the competition and become the winner of INOTEX 2024 battle.

It is worth mentioning that the top two teams of INOTEX Pitch and the winning team will receive 3 billion tomans in superior facilities from the Tose'e Ta'avon Bank. In addition, Dahir, the winning battle team, received 30 million tomans in facilities from Yektaventures. All teams also received 500 million tomans in facilities from the Tose'e Ta'avon Bank.
