Ali Tehmak, CEO of TABA Holding, believes that implementing a supply chain monitoring system can prevent the smuggling of essential goods.
As reported by the INOTEX 2024 newsroom, Ali Tehmak stated that one of the country’s current concerns is preventing the smuggling of goods from agricultural lands and even grocery stores. He mentioned flour as an example of a commodity that can be monitored from production and harvest to delivery to prevent smuggling.
He added that artificial intelligence plays a significant role in this area.
The CEO of TABA Holding, referring to the launch of a network for monitoring essential goods by the company’s specialists, said: “A code in the form of a barcode is issued from the origin on the goods, and it is completely monitored by artificial intelligence until it reaches the consumer, making any unauthorized use impossible.” He explained that regulatory bodies could easily become aware of any product leaving the sales chain by scanning the encrypted code if it does not match the product’s travel card.
In conclusion, he emphasized that one of the most important applications of this system is to prevent the smuggling of fuel and essential goods.
