Following the successful organization of Research Pitch and INOTEX Pitch competitions in North Khorasan, Khuzestan, and Gilan, the INOTEX 2025 Provincial Festival was held in Tehran in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering at K. N. Toosi University of Technology.

Research Pitch in Tehran

This event received 36 research proposals, out of which 16 projects advanced to the final stage after an initial evaluation. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Sajjad Rajabi, Executive Secretary of the INOTEX Exhibition, welcomed the participants and provided insights into Pardis Technology Park and INOTEX.

The final stage of the competition took place on Wednesday, February 13, 2025, where five top research projects were selected in the following fields:

• Future Health & Medical Technologies: Mohammadreza Mahmoudvand
• Information & Communication Technology, Artificial Intelligence: Mohammad Moloudi
• Information & Communication Technology, Artificial Intelligence: Sina Jafarpoor, Seyed Mehdi Zehraei, Abazar Asghari
• Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals: Ali Chayibakhsh Langroodi, Amirreza Mostafa Delijani
• Advanced Machinery, Equipment & Materials: Mehdi Khodai

INOTEX Pitch in Tehran

A total of 87 startup teams registered for the INOTEX Pitch competition, and after an initial evaluation, 14 teamsqualified for the final presentation stage. The event began with a speech by Dr. Sajjad Rajabi, who introduced the INOTEX Exhibition and Pardis Technology Park. This was followed by Dr. Ebrahim Babaqadri, Senior Investment Manager at Vista, who discussed support opportunities for innovative teams.

The final stage of this competition was held on Thursday, February 14, 2025, where two winning teams and one honorable mention were announced:

First Place: Ekipa – A platform for booking escape rooms and group entertainment activities
Second Place: Aisa – A sign language translator for the hearing impaired
Honorable Mention: Gofta – A customer communication platform using AI chatbots on Divar
 

Path to the INOTEX 2025 Final

Winners of the Research Pitch and INOTEX Pitch competitions have secured a spot in the grand final, which will be held simultaneously with the International INOTEX Exhibition from April 29 to May 2, 2025, at the Iran International Innovation Zone.

The next stop for the INOTEX 2025 Provincial Festival will be Markazi Province, with the event scheduled for February 20-21, 2025.
