Participation of 10 Iranian Startups Confirmed for INNOWEEK Uzbekistan; Possibility of Expansion

According to Sajad Rajabi, Secretary of INOTEX 2025, 10 Iranian startups are currently confirmed to participate in the INNOWEEK International Exhibition in Uzbekistan, with the Uzbek side suggesting that this number may increase.

Rajabi stated: “Based on agreements reached between Iran and Uzbekistan, a number of Iranian startups—supported by the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, Pardis Technology Park, and the Innovation and Prosperity Fund—will take part in the INNOWEEK exhibition. This participation was finalized following discussions on the sidelines of INOTEX 2024 and in cooperation with the Uzbekistan Innovation and Technology Agency.”

He added that while the names of the selected startups have not yet been announced, selection will be based on capacity, technology level, and readiness for export.

Rajabi emphasized that Iranian officials are negotiating special support measures to ensure a strong and impactful presence, hoping that this opportunity will facilitate the commercialization of knowledge-based products and their entry into regional markets.
