12 Teams from 6 Provinces Competed in the INOTEX Pitch Event at INOTEX 2025

According to the INOTEX 2025 News Desk, on the last day of the fourteenth edition of INOTEX, the INOTEX Pitch event was held at noon, bringing together innovators and tech entrepreneurs from across the country.

Reyhaneh Karamatifard, founder of the Proton Institute, told the INOTEX news desk: “Preparations for this event began in December of last year. Each year, we select ideas from six provinces, ultimately choosing two teams or ideas per province. In total, 12 teams participate in the event and compete. During the event, they receive a free booth at the exhibition and are introduced to investors. The teams hold various sessions, and after each team delivers a six-minute pitch and answers four questions, the first and second place teams are determined.”

She added: “The first and second-place teams receive cash prizes of 60 million and 40 million tomans per person, respectively, as well as 1.5 to 2 billion tomans in 10% interest loans over 60 months from Post Bank. After this stage, we move to the most exciting part of the event—the ‘battle’—where teams face off for three minutes, like a wrestling match. Ultimately, one team reaches the final stage and receives the championship belt.”

Karamatifard emphasized that the event aims to identify and support teams from underprivileged regions. By participating, teams can attract investors, sell their ideas, and advance toward commercialization and branding.

This year, participants came from six provinces: North Khorasan, Gilan, Khuzestan, Arak, Tehran, and Shiraz. The main criterion for entry into the event was having a developed product.
