Iranian Research Team from Hopad Sanat Karmania Unveils Two Revolutionary Products in Agriculture and Healthcare at INOTEX 2025

An Iranian research team from Hopad Sanat Karmania successfully developed two groundbreaking products in the fields of agriculture and medicine: an Automatic Tree Grafting Machine and the Hopad Med AI Doctor Assistant. These innovations were unveiled on the second day of INOTEX 2025 in the presence of senior national officials.

AI-Powered Prescription Management System

Amir Hossein Sidi, CEO of the company, stated that while electronic prescriptions offer many advantages, they also create challenges for physicians. Many doctors still insist on handwritten prescriptions on personal letterheads, which can limit patient access to insurance services.

To address this, Hopad Sanat Karmania developed the first Iranian AI-based prescription management system. Using handwriting recognition algorithms, the system allows doctors to write prescriptions with a stylus on an LCD screen as naturally as on paper. Once approved, prescriptions are automatically registered with insurance organizations.

Sidi explained that doctors no longer need to access insurance portals. The system increases workflow efficiency by 40% and integrates modules such as electronic patient records, online appointment scheduling, and accounting tools.

Automatic Tree Grafting Machine: A Breakthrough in Horticulture

The company’s second product, the Automatic Grafting Machine, was initially designed for pistachio trees but is now applicable to all orchard crops. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, 60% of manual grafts fail, whereas the accuracy of this machine reaches 90%.

Sidi highlighted that this technology increases farmers’ income, improves crop quality, and reduces costs associated with failed grafts.

The machine was officially unveiled at the Pioneers Pavilion in the presence of Mahmoud Sadegh Khayyatian (Head of the Innovation Fund), Seyed Hamed Ameli (Deputy of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade), and Mehdi Safariania (President of Pardis Technology Park).
