Greentech Accelerator to Offer $10,000 Worth of Dedicated Acceleration Services Through Its “Booster Camp” Program
The Greentech Accelerator plans to provide selected startups with dedicated acceleration services valued at $10,000 through the implementation of its Booster Camp program. Interested applicants can register by visiting www.greentech.ir/boostercamp.
According to the News Desk of INOTEX 2025, the session titled “Greentech: Preparing Startups for Entry into Global Markets” was held at the INOTEX Media Hub, with the participation of Farhad Rasouli, Co-founder of Greentech; Mohammad Hossein Rouhani, Co-founder of Greentech; and Bahar Behboudi, Marketing Manager of Greentech.
During the session, Mohammad Hossein Rouhani referred to the history of innovation initiatives at the knowledge-based company Green Web, stating:
“In the early 2010s, with the emergence of the startup wave in Iran, we decided to pursue innovation through an independent structure. Initially, we launched several startups within Green Web’s value chain, which gradually led to the formation of an accelerator structure known as Greentech Accelerator.”
He added:
“Like many first-generation accelerators, we gained experience working with a wide range of startups. However, given Green Web’s identity as a knowledge-based company with diverse products, the startup studio model proved to be more suitable for us—primarily because, beyond investment, we are able to deliver specialized services and smart capital.”
Rouhani continued:
“Under this model, businesses such as Ahura AI Operator, Araz Cloud, GreenPlus, Poshtiban, Chapirus, and Mana were launched.”
Referring to the McKinsey Three Horizons model, he explained:
“Our current startups have been developed within Horizons One and Two, and we are now aiming to create innovative businesses in Horizon Three through the venture studio model.”
He emphasized:
“In this approach, the focus is on team formation, talent retention, and the delivery of customized programs. Investment levels will also vary depending on each startup’s growth trajectory.”
Rouhani further announced:
“To date, Greentech—acting as a knowledge-based accelerator and the innovation arm of Green Web—has supported nearly 50 startups under the startup studio model, eight of which are currently active and experiencing notable growth. These companies will represent a significant share of Green Web’s new valuation, as the company is expected to enter the capital market within the next two months.”
He added:
“Accordingly, our focus is shifting toward building businesses that can reach the capital market through the venture studio pathway, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.”
Farhad Rasouli, Co-founder of Greentech, also addressed the session, drawing on his 12 years of experience in the European startup ecosystem, stating:
“We are striving to localize the venture studio model in line with Iran’s specific conditions by leveraging Greentech’s capabilities.”
He continued:
“Globally, the venture studio model—considered a more advanced version of the startup studio—focuses on precise design, targeted team building, resource synergy, and value creation. This model reduces investment risk while increasing returns.”
Rasouli added:
“Our first step is to run a bootcamp to identify capable founders in our target domains. In this model, the quality and commitment of founders are the key determinants of success.”
He emphasized:
“Our goal is to accelerate startup growth and prepare them for entry into international markets. Tailored program design for each team enables maximum resource efficiency.”
Referring to Green Web’s track record in technology exports, he noted:
“Despite domestic challenges, Green Web has been one of Iran’s successful software exporters. At Greentech, our focus is on technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and fintech.”
In the final part of the session, Bahar Behboudi, Marketing Manager of Greentech, stated:
“Greentech’s rebranding emerged from assessing startups’ needs for international expansion. In line with this, we designed a program called Booster Camp, which is delivered through a hybrid format of online and in-person sessions.”
She added:
“Teams with an idea, a product, or even individuals with strong motivation can participate in this program. Our primary focus is founder empowerment, followed by connecting them to global markets.”
Behboudi continued:
“The bootcamp activities include team building, idea evaluation, specialized mentoring, and roadmap design. Teams will also benefit from international mentoring services, with the total value of these services estimated at up to $10,000.”
She emphasized:
“Only high-potential individuals and teams will be granted scholarships by Greentech, and passing evaluation filters is mandatory. Our most important criterion is the presence of ambitious and professional founders.”
Concluding her remarks, she said:
“In this bootcamp, ideas are assessed from the perspective of international market feasibility—one of the key distinctions between the venture studio model and the traditional startup studio. Interested applicants can register until June 25 by visiting **www.greentech.ir/boostercamp**.”
