Meisam Soleimani, Editor-in-Chief of Rahkar Media:
The past year can be understood through three major trends: the formation of narratives against businesses, a period of transition, and the entry of new players.
In terms of narrative-building, a wave of calls to boycott businesses in the digital economy emerged. This wave was largely neutralized with the holding of ELECOMP, which helped restore confidence and visibility for the sector.
Regarding the transition phase, some companies and holdings—such as Sarava—moved beyond the traditional startup ecosystem by divesting their shares and entering a new phase of the innovation economy. This transition was also evident for Aparat, Filimo, and newer businesses through successful capital raising and the attraction of new investors.
As for the entry of new players, the past year saw the involvement of major industrial and financial groups such as Foolad Mobarakeh, Golrang Group, and banking holdings within the innovation ecosystem. Their presence was driven by large-scale investment, value-chain creation, and the development of a more competitive environment.
