SCHEDULE
INOTEX 2026 is no longer just a technology exhibition. With a strategic shift from an “exhibitor-centered” model to an “audience-centered” approach, a comprehensive structural redesign, and a transition toward a festival format, the event aims to expand Iran’s innovation ecosystem more than ever before.
At the press conference for the 15th edition of INOTEX 2026, Mehdi Safari-Nia, President of Pardis Technology Park, Mojtaba Jabbari-Pour, Vice President for Innovation Development, and Sajjad Rajabi, Executive Director of INOTEX, outlined the transformation that is redefining Iran’s largest innovation event.
Safari-Nia reviewed INOTEX’s 14-year journey since its launch in 2011, describing it as “a child of its time.” The event evolved from a technology transfer exhibition to a technology exchange platform, and eventually into the country’s largest gathering of the innovation and technology ecosystem.
According to him, INOTEX is now entering its fourth model — transforming into a festival of innovation and technology. He emphasized that rapid advancements in fields such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and nanotechnology require the innovation ecosystem to move beyond a limited circle of specialized actors and actively engage traditional industries, the service sector, policymakers, and the broader public.
Jabbari-Pour explained that this year’s transformation began with a fundamental question: Who is INOTEX for?
While previous editions focused primarily on technology providers, INOTEX 2026 has reversed this perspective, placing the “audience” at the center of its design.
A comprehensive study was conducted with participation from ecosystem stakeholders. Exhibitors were asked about their needs and challenges; visitors were surveyed about their motivations; and even those who had not attended previous editions were consulted about their reasons for absence.
The result was the definition of clear value propositions for two primary groups: visitors and exhibitors.
According to the organizers, visitors to INOTEX 2026 will benefit from four key experiences:
Jabbari-Pour stressed that without delivering real value to audiences, no other objective can be achieved.
For exhibitors, four major benefits have been defined:
Organizers described INOTEX 2026 as a “marketing and investment headquarters” for technology companies.
Rajabi highlighted the complete redesign of the exhibition structure. Exhibitors are now categorized into eight main groups, including startups, knowledge-based companies, investors, industries, media, and international participants. Visitors are also segmented into six defined categories.
The new zoned layout enables more targeted navigation for visitors and more effective engagement between exhibitors and their specific audiences.
Media organizations will be able to participate either as exhibitors in a dedicated media hall or as media sponsors, with cooperation possible through service barter arrangements.
Additionally, networking hubs, interactive cafés, and informal discussion spaces have been incorporated into the exhibition design to foster deeper engagement beyond traditional booth visits.
Organizers emphasized that this transformation extends beyond the four exhibition days. Startup competitions have already begun across various provinces, and engagement with investors and industries has become a continuous process rather than an annual occurrence.
The 15th edition of INOTEX will be held from May 20 to May 23, 2026. Company registration remains open until March 19, 2026.
Knowledge-based companies will also benefit from a 70% participation subsidy in coordination with Iran’s Innovation and Prosperity Fund.
INOTEX 2026 is not intended to simply repeat past successes. It represents a more mature, intelligent, and inclusive version of Iran’s largest innovation event — a festival where specialists, industrial leaders, investors, students, and families can share a collective experience of the future of technology.
